Handy Backup 3.9 functionality can be extended with plugins that will help you backup specific data automatically. Currently special plugins are provided to work with ICQ and Microsoft Outlook files.

Installation and registration

Plugins should be installed separately to a system where you previously installed Handy Backup 3.9. You can download trial versions of all available plugins from Handy Backup web site http://www.handybackup.com/download.shtml. Installation procedure is very simple, just run the installation program and it will automatically find Handy Backup on your system and add the plugin to it.

To manage currently installed plugins choose "Plugins..." command in the File menu. The program will display the following dialog.

To register a plugin: Enter the registration key in the corresponding box and press "Register" button. Repeat this operation for each plugin. To obtain a registration key you should buy corresponding plugin. You can do it from the following web page: http://www.handybackup.com/order.shtml.

To remove a plugin: Use the "Remove" button.
